		[niv]	In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, the month of Kislev.
		[asv]	And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of Jehovah came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chislev.

		[niv]	The people of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regem-Melech, together with their men, to entreat the LORD

		[niv]	by asking the priests of the house of the LORD Almighty and the prophets, "Should I mourn and fast in the fifth month, as I have done for so many years?"
		[asv]	and to speak unto the priests of the house of Jehovah of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

		[bbe]	And to say to the priests of the house of the Lord of armies and to the prophets, Am I to go on weeping in the fifth month, separating myself as I have done in past years?

		[niv]	Then the word of the LORD Almighty came to me:

	7:5	[cbgb]	你要宣告国内的众民，和祭司，说，你们这七十年在五月，七月禁食悲哀，岂是丝毫向我禁食麽？ < | >
		[niv]	"Ask all the people of the land and the priests, `When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months for the past seventy years, was it really for me that you fasted?
		[asv]	Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and in the seventh month, even these seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

	7:6	[cbgb]	你们吃喝，不是为自己吃，为自己喝麽？ < | >
		[niv]	And when you were eating and drinking, were you not just feasting for yourselves?
		[asv]	And when ye eat, and when ye drink, do not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?
		[jnd]	And when ye ate, and when ye drank, was it not you that were eating and drinking?

	7:7	[cbgb]	当耶路撒冷和四围的城邑有居民，正兴盛，南地高原有人居住的时候，耶和华藉从前的先知所宣告的话，你们不当听麽？ < | >
		[niv]	Are these not the words the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills were settled?'"
		[asv]	Should ye not hear the words which Jehovah cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, and the South and the lowland were inhabited?
		[jnd]	Are not these the words that Jehovah cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and at peace, and her cities round about her, when the south and the lowland were inhabited?
		[kjv]	Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

		[bbe]	Are not these the words which the Lord said to you by the earlier prophets, when Jerusalem was full of people and wealth, and the towns round about her and the South and the Lowland were peopled?

		[niv]	And the word of the LORD came again to Zechariah:

		[niv]	"This is what the LORD Almighty says: `Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.
		[asv]	Thus hath Jehovah of hosts spoken, saying, Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother;
		[jnd]	Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew loving-kindness and mercies one to another,
		[kjv]	Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

	7:10	[cbgb]	不可欺压寡妇，孤儿，寄居的，和贫穷人。谁都不可心里谋害弟兄。 < | >
		[niv]	Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other.'
		[asv]	and oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the sojourner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.

	7:12	[cbgb]	使心硬如金钢石，不听律法，和万君之耶和华用灵藉从前的先知所说的话。故此，万君之耶和华大发烈怒。 < | >
		[niv]	They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the LORD Almighty was very angry.
		[asv]	Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which Jehovah of hosts had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore there came great wrath from Jehovah of hosts.
		[jnd]	And they made their heart an adamant, that they should not hear the law, and the words that Jehovah of hosts sent by his Spirit by the hand of the former prophets: therefore was there great wrath from Jehovah of hosts.

		[niv]	`I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations, where they were strangers. The land was left so desolate behind them that no one could come or go. This is how they made the pleasant land desolate.'"
