    [asv] He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child  Shall have him become a son at the last.

    [asv] Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul;  He heareth the adjuration and uttereth nothing.  
    [jnd] Whoso shareth with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth the adjuration, and declareth not.
    [kjv] Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.

    [asv] The fear of man bringeth a snare;  But whoso putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be safe.  
    [jnd] The fear of man bringeth a snare; but whoso putteth his confidence in Jehovah is protected.
    [kjv] The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

    [niv] Many seek an audience with a ruler, but it is from the LORD that man gets justice.
    [asv] Many seek the ruler's favor;  But a man's judgment cometh from Jehovah.  
    [jnd] Many seek the ruler's face; but a man's right judgment is from Jehovah.
    [kjv] Many seek the ruler's favour; but every man's judgment cometh from the LORD.
    [nwb] Many seek the ruler's favor; but man's judgment from the LORD.
    [rsv] Many seek the favor of a ruler, but from the LORD a man gets justice.

    [niv] The righteous detest the dishonest; the wicked detest the upright.
    [asv] An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous;  And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
    [jnd] An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous; and he that is of upright way is an abomination to the wicked .
    [kjv] An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.
