		[niv]	turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,
		[asv]	So as to incline thine ear unto wisdom,  And apply thy heart to understanding;
		[jnd]	so that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom thou apply thy heart to understanding;

		[kjv]	Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
		[nwb]	Yes, if thou criest after knowledge, liftest up thy voice for understanding;

		[niv]	He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
		[asv]	He layeth up sound wisdom for the upright;  He is a shield to them that walk in integrity;

		[kjv]	He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

		[niv]	for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
		[asv]	That he may guard the paths of justice,  And preserve the way of his saints.

		[asv]	But the wicked shall be cut off from the land,  And the treacherous shall be rooted out of it.
