    [niv] He entered the house of God, and taking the consecrated bread, he ate what is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions."

    [niv] who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil spirits were cured,
    [asv] and they that were troubled with unclean spirits were healed.

    [niv] Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.
    [asv] Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
